Instead of picking, choose care!

(Acne-prone skin doesn’t mean it’s dirty)

There’s a common myth that acne is the result of dirty skin. The truth is quite different – acne is a skin condition, not a sign of uncleanliness.
So, hands off your face – no squeezing! A disciplined yet gentle skincare routine gives the best results.
Oily skin, hormones, stress, genetics, or even overly aggressive skincare can all contribute to acne. Often, people with acne wash their face more than necessary, use harsh products, and end up further damaging the skin’s natural barrier.
That’s why we recommend a consistent but gentle routine:

1.     Gentle cleansing, twice a day

2.     Toner

3.     Lightweight hydration

4.     Spot treatments

5.     SPF every day

6.     And yes, we definitely support the idea that it’s just as important to keep your hair clean and to change your pillowcase more frequently than usual – because it inevitably comes into contact with your face.

So, there's no need to overdo it with cleansing – instead, choose gentle and balanced products, and use LED therapy 3–5 times a week as a supplement to dermatological treatments.
And of course, perhaps most importantly – don’t be ashamed of your face. Acne doesn’t define your hygiene, nor is it a reflection of your worth.

Don’t let acne take away your right to feel beautiful. And remember, your glow doesn't have to wait for acne to disappear.
Do you really think that top models, famous actresses, and singers don’t struggle with the same thing you do?

We are surrounded by false ideals of models and filters on social media, which leads us to associate clear, flawlessly filtered skin with beauty and the “right” way to look — but reality is different. Acne is a normal condition that affects almost all of us at some point in life. Very few people have never dealt with this little issue at some stage.

That’s why we have to repeat it – acne is not a sign of poor hygiene or neglect. It’s a skin condition – and it should never be a reason for you to “hide”.

Your face is your face.
With acne. Without it. With makeup. Without makeup.
Because confidence doesn’t come when every single pimple disappears — it comes when you tell yourself, this is me – and I matter.

So take care of your skin — but even more, take care of what’s inside.
Because only then will you truly shine at your brightest.

L&L Skin’s Recommendation for Gentle Facial Care:

EMI facial cleansing brush paired with a probiotic foam
MAMI device thermotherapy helps serums absorb better in warm mode, while the blue light (cooling mode) has antibacterial properties and targets acne-causing bacteria
Your favorite series or book while wearing the LED mask... don’t forget: blue light treats acne and tightens pores, purple light helps restore skin’s fullness ?

Until the next BloGlow,
Your L&L Skin Team✨
